Forever young

This morning I awoke to the sound of a song called "Young Fo review" and with some memories of the past!
Inevitably our brain always associate this experience with the past, recovering something of great value, experience difficult to forget, or even a nice time, people who somehow scored us.
I'm talking about a man in 90 years, with heart problems and dependency on prescription drugs expensive.
I never met your family, because since I knew he always avoided talking about them, lived in a small room rented, with a little stove and a bathroom and tiny.
Despite their precarious living conditions, and needs medication at no time felt in his countenance, aspects of sadness or fatigue.
Not to be cruel, but by curiosity and a need to do something for him, every time they kept asking about his past life, he said that the past no longer mattered.
The moment that mattered most to him was the future, because the walk would be long and promising.
How much wisdom in this statement, I felt so embarrassed at that moment, because our consciousness reacts automatically, throwing in our faces the contrary thoughts, and often loaded with pessimism about the future.
Just a question he did, and I could feel a drop of sadness and inconformação.
He mentioned that he thought the cycle of human birth, growth, aging and death, should be the opposite.
He should be born old body, and with the wisdom typical of age as profit over life, and not waste both our current characteristic of youth.
Further, his reasoning is that as time passed, we would become young in body, and is associated with wisdom could seize life more fully.
He just did not think that life bestow wisdom that age, and in return to withdraw the vigor of youth.
In the end he apologized for whining about this issue, and vented that despite his advanced age, he felt deep down that his soul was still a boy.
I felt that his youth sprang from within your soul, and his belief that the path to eternity is a long and promising, made all the difference for a man of 90 years, and with heart problems.
The opposite is the youth of our generation, who lives whining about all the things and the inevitable and apparent premature aging.
This explains certain diseases before "privilege" only the most experienced, such as rheumatism, diabetes, osteoporosis and other diseases more common in young people.
The quality of our thoughts based on our beliefs, makes all the difference in our lives, the physical reflects the content of our souls!
